Bonelord's Hall

A place in the Dreaming styled as a dark carnival.

Former seat of the Bonelord, and home to his menagerie and collection of trophies from his hunts.

The Bonelord's Hall is a massive cathedral-like space with walls made of the ribs of some impossibly-titanic beast interleaved with relatively-smaller bones to seal it from the Far Dreaming outside, mortared together with ancient carbon sludge that was once sinew binding it together. There are signs that it was originally more of an amphitheater, with the rib buttresses lifting high, and the upper walls added and completed into the vaulted ceiling as that style became more prevalent in churches toward the Renaissance. Whatever original interior subdividing it once had has long been cannibalized and repurposed within the building.

The interior is laid out like an interior circus, carnival, fair, or midway show, the greater walls functioning in place of a massive tent. Twisting avenues run between "temporary" attractions, formed of reused bones of uncertain provenance and more appropriate building materials that likely arrived like driftwood in this part of the Far Dreaming (not terribly distance, most of the time, from the region called the Crystal Falls). Many of these avenues are barricaded off, creating obvious regions within the sprawl. Most of the barricades look like they were built recently and have been attacked and reinforced.

Different regions support different plays on the theme, with some featuring macabre midway games, others sideshow cages with bars of thick bone, and some clearly set up with seating for shows (who knows where guests come from, or if they ever have).
