Session 27

We decide to leave the gala at the High and head home
- We all get the notion that we maybe shouldn't head directly back to the freehold or our homes in case some vampires decide to follow us
- I manage to spot a car that is tailing us from the front and we shake it only to see it turn up as we're in the parking lot of the bank by the freehold talking

Blaze is doing stunt work on Project Artemis, building up Contacts
- She does well overall, but struggles with the wires setup
Agnes asked Silas to meet the next night
- They meet at the Georgia State Library to do some research after Silas exerted some influence to give them afterhours access for the week
- They are looking into the Malacoda and shadow lions
Aoife decides she wants to live in her own building so spends the week house hunting
Moira and I continue work on Bran's collar
- We get up to 12 successes between last downtime and this one (and we need 3 less successes on the total extended project because Moira's master craftsman merit and lowers her difficulty by 2)
- My rolls are:
  - Metamorphosis + Fae (6 dice)
  - Perception + Crafts (5 dice)
  - Wits + Gremayre (4 dice)
On Thursday the 12th there is a citywide tornado warning
- The tornado veers off and misses Atlanta
- "What if it was a time-nado?" I say…with the Bard's Tongue flaw, and the same damage that hit Truist plaza in 2011 seems to have happened exactly again
- There is a scuttlebutt amongst the changelings about whether this was a fomorian attack and if they might hit us with more disasters from other times

We all work the same projects as the previous week
- Blaze impresses some folks (and increases her Contacts rating)
- Moira and I get another 11 successes
- Aoife finds something about to go on the market and gets in to talk to the owners early and convinces them to sell to her, and probably needs another week to have everything formalized and be ready to move in on the 27th
- Agnes continues researching with Silas and they make good progress
On Wednesday the 18th a shooting occurs at the Stop Cop City protests with one cop injured and one activist killed
Nadira contacts Aoife and tells her she's in town and can meet for lunch
- The entire gang goes and we meet her at 2 Urban Licks where Declan knows a guy
- Blaze deftly sneaks over to the smokers on the floor to make "fried cheese" with some string cheese she has
- Nadira definitely doesn't seem to be too up on the modern world, and doesn't seem terribly concerned with hiding that she's not "normal"
  - We do find out that she is, in fact, a mummy through some oblique conversation (Declan is pretty solidly taking her on face value about being like an immortal from Highlander)
- We agree to help repatriate artifacts to Egypt
  - In return she may be able to help us with research materials on the Malacoda or other topics we may ask
  - She does say she'll take a look through her old letters and possibly give me some with interesting signatures
