Zombies!

• The zombies closing on the Hand of God Ministries fundraiser are covered in frost
• Agnes sends a message to Christopher basically saying "if you see your dead father, that's not him"
• Moira tries to organize the other Changelings (Diarmaid and Nightshade) and get them together so she can cover them all with Veiled Eyes
• The frost zombies seem to specifically be resistant to chimerical fire
• Nightshade after a few rounds of helping in the fight fucks off (hopefully to safety) as he's not really built for combat
• Diarmaid unleashes the Wyrd and his voile is definitely a super hero suit, and goes into the fight
• Agnes is incredibly convincing with her recitation of exorcism prayers, that seems to have convince Mick Donnelly and his hunter grunts that she's probably one of them
  • They join her in fighting at one of the other entrances
  • Mick slips on the now icy stairs and gets badly injured by one of the zombies
• They defeat the zombies!
  • And message us about it

Celebrity escape room

• The goal of the escape room/scavenger hunt is to find "Prometheus' Flame" according to Tate Chanter, and we all get papers with initial clues
  • Blaze's clue is "Find statue of Artemis who will point the way to the next clue"
  • My clue is "Find statue of Hermes, next clue under his boot"
• We decide to try and see if we can form a team with JoScar to help Blaze forge a connection with her, but see Sandra Paris walking towards a statue that is turning towards her
  • Blaze tries to intercept and puts some water from the urn on the statue…and finds out it's a guy dressed as a statue
• We spot JoScar and see Seline, Baroness Sabrina's scout talking to her, trying to get on her team
  • I try and distract JoScar while Blaze does a knockout job of distracting Seline and pickpocketing all her bunk stuff
  • I step in to keep Seline distracted so Blaze can try and walk JoScar away
  • Sadly, Blaze rolls very poorly on forging that rapport so JoScar wanders off
  • I spend a little time trying to convince Seline that she's picked the wrong horse with Sabrina, but it falls on deaf ears
• It's time to get Blaze in the spotlight; I cast Aphrodisia on her with an impromptu, improvised, and impressive costume change with minor pyro and she has a whole host of smart people who are trying to help her
  • With the gaggle of helpers, we are hot on the path to finding "Prometheus' Flame" which is a jeweled lamp hidden up in the pyro on the stage where Nelly Zavrick is performing
  • I scoot off the stage as she's revealed with the winner and continue selling her, now to Tate Chanter and Khloe Zavrick

Supernatural meets Law & Order

• Aoife gets to talking with a security expert, Ezekial "Zeke" Barnes, talking with Eldon Hawkins (another sidhe)
  • She's not sure if the security expert is something supernatural, but he is definitely living
    • He could be something like a kinfolk maybe?
• She moves on and meets another woman, Nadira al-Masri
  • When they shake hands, she feels almost too warm; exceedingly vibrant
    • The shaking of hands is almost too formal, quite possibly archaic
  • Aoife gets the sense that she is very old, like a vampire sort of old, but is definitely not a vampire
  • She works in reappropriation of artifacts, and works on returning artifacts to Egypt

Happy New Year!

• Lots of inebriated and/or high people at the celebrity party; neither Blaze or I try and go after a celeb for a midnight kiss
• Aoife ends up standing next to a very drunk Clarissa Whitmore at midnight, and both of them notice something weird and off; everyone is more than 10 feet away seems a little hard to make out, and something is happening so that they have a hard time noticing who is in the room with them
  • At midnight the feeling seems to clear and Aoife notes that none of the vampires are in the room
  • The others in the room seem to also have some sense that something weird happens, but not enough to put their finger on the fact that it was effecting their awareness of who was in the room
• Aoife finds Annie Hannover on her own near the elevators, slumped down, bleeding from her stomach and neck and in a very bad way
  • Clarissa calls for a doctor, and Nadira shows up and calls for them to keep everyone back, after which she reaches into her bag and pulls out a little clay man and does something with it
    • Nadira is sculpting the figure to look somewhat like the injured woman and starts chanting in Egyptian, and then the wound heals over
    • She rips Annie's dress to "bandage" the wound as cover
    • Nadira sniffs at Annie's neck and stomach, and says that she was not infected with her date's (Julian Stone) blood except for at the wound in her stomach
  • Clarissa then steps in and uses time magic to try and figure out what happened
    • Annie was making out with Julian, and then a giant black cat stabbed her in the back…or maybe it was a person in black dressed up like a cat…maybe a lion?
    • The cat stabbed Julian in the back with a stake and must have penetrated through and into Annie, and then it dragged Julian away
